Newest X-24 HOT Irons is Coming December 21, 2011

Callaway newest production is coming out, the callaway x-24 hot irons. Are you ready? Designed and built to enhance performance and increase ball speed, the X-24 Hot Irons from Callaway Golf offer hot club faces with a large sweet spot to generate faster balls speeds–even on off center hits. The irons utilize Callaway’s Precision Notch Weighting to move more weight to the perimeter of the club head. This enables an optimal center of gravity (CG) position for stronger trajectories while promoting pinpoint accuracy and control.

The X24 Irons are further refined with 360 Degree Undercut Channel technology and Modified TruBore technology. Trubore technology introduces a shorter, straighter, hollow hosel design that allows more weight to move into the perimeter of the club head while the 360-Degree Undercut Channel further maximizes perimeter weighting for CG that is even lower and farther back in the club head. These paired technologies enlarge the hitting area and stabilize the club head for more forgiveness that provides an improved performance and enhanced feel for a wide range of golfers. Finished with a stealth PVD finish, the X-24 Hot Irons offer a distinctive dark look that minimizes glare on the course.

Having been hitting this clubs for a couple of weeks now and feel the true shot coming off the club face each and every time – even on miss hits!! I upgraded from a set of X24 Irons, which were very good, and saw improvement in feel and distance.

I think all golf lovers no matter how good you are will enjoy these iron! The golf set is presumably to reduce glare, but I never felt that to be a problem in the past. I appreciate this feature for strictly cosmetic reasons. Contrary to other reviews I read, this is a sturdy finish, and I have not experienced problems of fading or other damage. Finally, the shaft is quite nice on this set. I am a strong person, and I generate a lot of club speed. I have had problems with excessive flex in clubs since I began playing.
